The official start of the ANCI Lazio Training Camp 2026, which for three days will bring together administrators from all over the region in a path of training, discussion and sharing of experiences.
This year, Ventotene will also host one of the most anticipated events in ANCI Lazio's associational activities, dedicated to the development of local administrators' skills and the in-depth study of the main challenges facing Municipalities in the coming years.
The opening day began with institutional greetings from the President of ANCI Lazio. Daniele Sinibaldi, of the Prefect of Latina Vittoria Ciaramella, of the President of the Province of Latina Federico Carnevale and of the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Ventotene Giuseppe Pepe, which highlighted the importance of dialogue between institutions and continuous training to effectively address the changes affecting local territories and communities.
Over the afternoon, participants took part in initial in-depth sessions dedicated to the opportunities offered by European and regional programming, cohesion policies and the tools available to local authorities to promote development, innovation and growth within their territories. This was an opportunity for discussion, allowing for an analysis of scenarios, tools and future prospects for local administrations. There was also an opportunity to showcase project experiences developed by ANCI Lazio through a special post-exhibition open for discussion and sharing of good practices.
The Training Camp has been an important opportunity for updating and professional growth for local administrators in Lazio for years. An event that confirms ANCI Lazio's commitment to promoting qualified training, administrative innovation, and skill development, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of Municipalities to respond to community needs and seize the opportunities offered by regional, national, and European policies.
The activities will continue on the 4th and 5th of June with sessions dedicated to innovation, social policies, sustainability, European programming and the development prospects of the territories, confirming Ventotene as a privileged meeting and discussion place for the community of local administrators of Lazio.
