Rome, 29 May 2026 – A shared path to elevate the quality of the Universal Civil Service (SCU) and provide Lazio's municipalities with more robust tools for planning. This is the core of the three-year memorandum of understanding that ANCI Lazio has signed with ANCI Campania, a protocol through which the two Associations are launching a structured collaboration for the benefit of the territories and young volunteers.
At the heart of the agreement is the choice to leverage existing, mature experience. ANCI Campania has, over the years, built an organisational model recognised on a national scale, which now becomes a concrete resource for the municipalities in Lazio as well. ANCI Lazio brings to this collaboration its knowledge of the territory and its established relationship with local authorities, essential conditions for translating the most advanced procedures into support that is truly effective and tailored to the needs of the municipalities.
«We have great faith in the strength of collaboration between regions,» emphasises Daniele Sinibaldi, President of ANCI Lazio. «Networking and sharing the best administrative practices is the way to guarantee efficiency for our Municipalities and, above all, to ensure young people in Civil Service have a valuable experience.».
An Interregional Coordination Committee, which will bring together the leaders of the two Associations, will oversee the implementation of the protocol and its results. The body will be tasked with monitoring the progress of activities and exploring new growth prospects for Lazio and Campania.
