(Rome, May 25, 2026) The Lazio Region launches a new call for 9.5 million euros to support Enterprise Networks in the local commerce sector. The notice, available from May 26, 2026 in the Official Gazette of the Lazio Region, was presented by Vice President and Minister of Economic Development Roberta Angelilli. Also present Federico Palla, Director-General of Anci Lazio, On behalf of the local authorities, to confirm the central role of the municipalities in the implementation of the measure.
It is the municipalities — and the Municipalities of Rome Capital — that present the Network Programs to access the funding, coordinating the aggregation of businesses in the field of commerce, crafts, and services on their own territory. Since 2023 to date, this approach has already produced concrete results: 158 network programs funded by 121 local authorities, with a total investment of 25 million euros from the Region.
The contributions are calibrated based on the demographic size of the municipalities that submit the program, with amounts ranging from 50,000 euros for the smallest municipalities to 100,000 euros for Rome Capital, the provincial capitals and municipalities with over 50,000 inhabitants. The larger municipalities also have the option to submit up to two separate programs, provided that they are on territorial areas that are not overlapping.
To access the funding, the Networks must reach a minimum threshold of participating economic activities — from 15 for the smallest municipalities to 30 for the larger ones — and structure the program around three axes: promotion and territorial communication; enhancement of the commercial offer; and digitalization; and the redevelopment of public spaces and urban animation. The form of the Supply Chain Networks is also envisaged, involving at least three neighboring municipalities.
