In Roccagorga the 1st National Institutional Conference on CERs, RES and nuclear power
The 1st National Institutional Conference “New energy policies for the future of small municipalities”, promoted by the Small Municipalities Coordination of ANCI Lazio, took place yesterday, 15 September 2026, at the Roccagorga Theatre.
The event, dedicated to the themes of energy transition, Renewable Energy Communities (RECs), Energy Programming and Planning (EPP) and the role of nuclear power in the national energy mix, was attended by the Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, alongside numerous institutional and parliamentary representatives.
“Supporting local authorities in the energy challenge, by putting the needs of the regions and communities at the centre”: this was the commitment reiterated by the president of ANCI Lazio, Daniele Sinibaldi, during the proceedings.
“ANCI Lazio stands alongside local administrations, especially smaller ones, to encourage dialogue with institutions and an understanding of the tools and opportunities of the energy transition, stated Sinibaldi. From Renewable Energy Communities to energy planning, the goal is to make municipalities protagonists in a path of innovation and sustainable development.”
President Sinibaldi wished to offer special thanks to the Council of Small Municipalities of ANCI Lazio and its coordinator, Lubiana Restaini, for organising an event that brought the needs of small municipalities to the centre of the national debate on energy policies.
