An important accolade for ANCI Lazio and its Training Camp: it has been awarded the Public Communication Prize – Local Authorities as part of the first edition of the 2026 Grand Prix for Institutional Communication. On 17 and 18 September, the project will return to the spotlight in Sperlonga with a new edition dedicated to local administrators.

ANCI Lazio was awarded during the first edition of the Grand Prix for Institutional Communication 2026, promoted by Touchpoint and Ital Communications and hosted in the prestigious setting of the Sala della Regina at Palazzo Montecitorio.

The Association has been awarded the Public Communication Prize – Local Authorities for the ANCI Lazio Training Camp, recognised as a laboratory for innovation, training and institutional dialogue in the service of local administrators and the development of local areas.

Collecting the award was the President of ANCI Lazio Daniele Sinibaldi, Mayor of Rieti.

The award recognises a path that ANCI Lazio has been pursuing with the aim of creating new opportunities for meetings between administrators, institutions, experts, and public and private entities, while simultaneously experimenting with innovative methods of training and institutional communication.

Indeed, the Training Camp was created as an open space for discussion on the main issues affecting the future of municipalities and local communities. It is a format that combines in-depth study with opportunities for dialogue, participation and the sharing of experiences, fostering the building of networks between administrators and regions.

The award comes at a particularly significant time: tomorrow, Thursday 17 September, the new edition of the ANCI Lazio Training Camp will kick off in Sperlonga, continuing until Friday 18 September.

Two days featuring the participation of mayors, local administrators, institutional representatives, municipal secretaries, managers, local authority employees, experts and partners, called upon to discuss the main challenges facing municipalities today.

The programme will address numerous strategic themes for local authorities, from digital transformation to social infrastructure, and from local finance to institutional participation, through panels, meetings, in-depth sessions and participatory activities.

Additionally, on the afternoon of Thursday 17 September, the Training Camp will host the Regional Assembly of ANCI Lazio, which the President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca is expected to attend.

The recognition obtained at the Grand Prix for Institutional Communication therefore also represents an important starting point for the new edition in Sperlonga and confirms ANCI Lazio's commitment to investing in public communication capable not only of informing, but also of fostering participation, networking experiences and bringing institutions and local areas ever closer together.

On the 17th and 18th of September, therefore, the Training Camp is back in Sperlonga: a new event to foster cooperation, share experiences and build new prospects together for the municipalities of Lazio.
