Thursday 20 November 2025, at 4 p.m., at the Giacomo Matteotti Hall of the Chamber of Deputies, a debate will be held on the topics contained in the book “Realpolitik. World disorder and the threats to Italy”.” by Giampiero Massolo e Francesco Bechis, a topical and realistic analysis of the geopolitical dynamics that are redefining the international balance.
The initiative is promoted by ANCI Lazio and intends to offer administrators, institutional representatives and citizens an opportunity to discuss issues that influence local and national policies on a daily basis:
- migration and international instability,
- European Union crisis,
- Italy's role in the Mediterranean,
- new forms of hybrid threat,
- intelligence and security,
- relations between the United States, China and Russia.
The meeting will be introduced by institutional greetings from Daniele Sinibaldi, President of ANCI Lazio, and Paolo Trancassini, Quaestor of the Chamber of Deputies.
Moderating the proceedings will be Davide D'Arcangelo.
Speakers will be:
- Salvatore De Meo, MEP;
- Giuseppe Provenzano, Member of Parliament and Commissioner for Foreign and Community Affairs;
- Manuela Polcaro, Director of EMC Region - BCG Consulting;
- Veronica Nicotra, ANCI Secretary General.
