ANCI Lazio's 2026 Training Camp has concluded, a three-day event of discussion, training and sharing dedicated to the theme “AI – Intelligent Administration”, which brought together local administrators, experts and institutional representatives on the island of Ventotene.
Among the protagonists of the initiative was the Technical Scientific Committee (CTS) of ANCI Lazio, present for the entire duration of the event with a qualified contribution on both the scientific and organisational levels. On the occasion of the plenary session, the CTS presented the new training model promoted by ANCI Lazio, which supports local administrators in a path of continuous growth: from the Training Camp to the Level I Master's in Public Administration Management, created in agreement with the GARI Foundation and the International University of Public Administrations.
The Committee also organised the Poster Exhibition, which was set up at two points during the event, transforming it into a space for comparison and dialogue between ANCI Lazio and the administrators present, with the aim of gathering ideas, experiences, and proposals to strengthen policies supporting local authorities.
«Ventotene 2026 gives us back energy and determination. The common thread of these three days was the sense of community: the awareness that doing the job of mayor, councillor, or alderman well is never a solitary act. The CTS wants to be one of the instruments that make this collective work possible. Heartfelt thanks to President Daniele Sinibaldi, to the entire Executive Board, and to Secretary Masi for making an edition of this quality possible. And to our CTS colleagues: behind every Training Camp is their commitment and their work.»

Coordinator of the Technical-Scientific Committee of ANCI Lazio
With the 2026 edition concluded, the Technical Scientific Committee is already working on the 2027 Training Camp. In the coming weeks, a feedback questionnaire will be sent to participants: observations, suggestions, and proposals will help define the content and activities of the next edition, in a path of continuous improvement built together with local administrators.
