The 2026 Training Camp of ANCI Lazio has concluded; three days of discussion, training and sharing dedicated to the topic “AI – Smart Administration”, which brought together local administrators, experts and representatives of the institutions on the island of Ventotene.

Among the protagonists of the initiative is the Technical Scientific Committee (CTS) of ANCI Lazio, present throughout the duration of the event with a qualified contribution both on the scientific and organizational level. At the plenary session, the CTS presented the new training model promoted by ANCI Lazio, which accompanies local administrators on a path of continuous growth: from the Training Camp to the Level I Master in Public Administration Management, realized in collaboration with the GARI Foundation and the International University of Public Administration.

The Committee also curated the Poster Exhibition, which was set up at two points during the event, transforming it into a space for discussion and dialogue between ANCI Lazio and the attending administrators, with the aim of gathering ideas, experiences and proposals to strengthen policies supporting local authorities.

«Ventotene 2026 gives us energy and determination. The common thread of these three days was the sense of community: the awareness that doing a good job as a mayor, an alderman, or a councillor is never an individual act. The CTS wants to be one of the tools that make this collective work possible. A heartfelt thank you to President Daniele Sinibaldi, the entire Board, and Secretary Masi for making an edition of this quality possible. And to the colleagues of the CTS: behind every Training Camp lies their commitment and their work.»
Emiliano Campoli
Coordinator of the Technical-Scientific Committee of ANCI Lazio

With the 2026 edition concluded, the Technical and Scientific Committee is already working on the 2027 Training Camp. In the coming weeks, a evaluation questionnaire will be sent to the participants: observations, suggestions and proposals will contribute to defining the content and activities of the next edition, in a continuous improvement process built together with the local administrators.
