The ANCI Lazio Executive Council met yesterday in Velletri, convened by President Daniele Sinibaldi, at a meeting that saw the participation of the members of the body to take stock of the main associative activities.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for discussion and sharing on the work already undertaken and that which is planned, with particular attention to initiatives supporting the municipalities of Lazio and strengthening the association's role in the region.
Among the points discussed, the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting on 24 March 2026 was accompanied by the examination of some institutional collaboration proposals, including one with PAM Italia and the memorandum of understanding with the Concilianet Legal Studies Centre, confirming the desire to consolidate and expand synergies with qualified entities in support of local authorities.
Ample space was dedicated to initiatives aimed at younger administrators, particularly with the discussion on participation in the ANCI Giovani National Assembly and on ways of involvement. Separately, the organisation of ANCI Lazio's participation in the Race for the Cure in Rome, scheduled for May 2026, was addressed: an initiative linked to health and prevention themes, for which operational aspects relating to registrations and the distribution of participant kits were defined.
During the meeting, the ratification of the expression of interest as an End User within the European EUSPA programme “Make it With Space” was also planned, with a focus on the use of innovative tools to support the resilience of territories and cities, a theme of increasing importance in local policies.
The Governing Council thus confirmed its central role in defining ANCI Lazio's lines of action, further strengthening the commitment to the region's Municipalities and the overall growth of the local autonomy system.
