The cycle of training meetings promoted by ANCI Lazio on various strategic themes for local authorities concluded yesterday in Velletri, once again confirming the association's commitment to supporting administrators and officials in managing new administrative challenges.

The final meeting, hosted at the Town Hall, concluded a series of in-depth sessions dedicated to the topic “Municipal Budgets and Local Finance in Light of Recent Regulatory Changes,” organised in collaboration with the Gazzetta Amministrativa della Repubblica Italiana Foundation.

Approximately 80 people attended the course in person, with a further 151 joining remotely, confirming the strong interest and wide participation registered throughout the training programme.

The course, structured into four sessions between March and April, thoroughly addressed key themes for local authority management: from accounting harmonisation to municipal revenues and expenses, from investments and PNRR funds to reporting, strategic control, and sustainability indicators.

A training course that is part of ANCI Lazio's broader programme aimed at strengthening administrative skills and capacities, supporting innovation and improving the quality of services in the territories.

To mark the conclusion of the training cycle, the following spoke for an institutional greeting at the end of today's meeting: Daniele Sinibaldi, President of ANCI Lazio, Luca Masi, Secretary General of the association, Enrico Michetti, President of the G.A.R.I. Foundation, and the Deputy Mayor of Velletri, Chiara Ercoli.

The presence of institutions has underlined the strategic value of continuous training for local authorities, in a regulatory context that is constantly evolving and requires ever more specialised updates and skills.

With this initiative, ANCI Lazio confirms its role as a point of reference for the Municipalities in the area, promoting moments of growth and discussion that are useful for strengthening administrative capacity and responding effectively to the needs of local communities.
