In recent days Manuel Magliocchetti, member of the Executive of ANCI Lazio with responsibility for communication, took part in an evening dedicated to the promotion of some typical products of the Frusinate area, including the serronesi patacche, recognised product De.Co. under the project Common Origin.
The initiative proposed a typical menu entirely focused on Serronesi patacche, an identity speciality of the area of Serrone, with the aim of promoting local gastronomic traditions and the work of the communities that preserve them.

The evening was also attended by the Mayor of Serrone, Giancarlo Proietto, and the Councillor of the Province of Frosinone, Luigi Vacana, testifying to the attention of local institutions towards the promotion of traditional agri-food products.
«Serronesi patacche represent a concrete example of how De.C.O. products can tell the identity of a territory. Occasions like this help strengthen the bond between local communities, administrations and the promotion of traditions», stated Manuel Magliocchetti.
The participation of ANCI Lazio is part of the activities of Common Origin, the project that supports Municipal Designations of Origin as a tool for protecting territorial identities, promoting local excellence and strengthening the link between products, communities and administrations.
A simple but significant opportunity to reaffirm the importance of initiatives that, through the culture of food, tell territories and their stories.
