ANCI Lazio to the Coordination of Regional ANCI: meeting in Gorizia to discuss support for Municipalities and training for administrators.

The President of ANCI Lazio Daniele Sinibaldi, the Secretary General Luca Masi and the Director Federico Palla are currently participating in the Coordination of Regional ANCIs, scheduled to take place in Gorizia from 14 to 16 May 2026. A national event bringing together representatives of the Italian regional ANCIs to address strategic issues related to the strengthening of local authorities, administrative training and operational support for Municipalities.

The initiative, organised by ANCI Friuli Venezia Giulia, is taking place at Gorizia Town Hall and sees the participation of administrators, executives, and institutional representatives from all over Italy. The focus of the discussions will be on organisational shortcomings in municipalities, particularly smaller ones, and the role that regional ANCI bodies can play in providing operational support, technical assistance, and administrative guidance.

Among the main themes addressed during the Coordination, there was also the training of local administrators, defined as a “civic duty of competence”, through experiences and organisational models capable of strengthening the skills of the local leadership class and improving the quality of administrative action.

The official opening of the proceedings was marked by institutional greetings from the Mayor of Gorizia, Rodolfo Ziberna, the President of ANCI FVG, Dorino Favot, the Coordinator of the Regional ANCI bodies, Susanna Cenni, the President of the ANCI National Council, Marco Fioravanti, and the Regional Councillor for Local Authorities, Pierpaolo Roberti.

The presence of the ANCI Lazio delegation confirms the association's commitment to actively contributing to national forums dedicated to the future of local authorities, sharing experiences, best practices, and common strategies to support territories and strengthen the role of Municipalities.
