The press conference for the presentation of the ANCI Lazio Training Camp 2025, scheduled from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 September 2025 in the heart of Sperlonga's historic centre, was held at the Auditorium of the Municipality of Sperlonga.

After the past editions held on the island of Ventotene, the Training Camp has a new format to respond to the new challenges posed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the evolution of local policies. The aim is to promote an innovative model of confrontation between public administration, government agencies, technicians, national and international stakeholders, in order to face together the changes of the post-PNRR season and look ahead to the new 2028-2034 programming cycle. In this sense, the 2025 Training Camp will be characterised by an even more inclusive participation, open to all Lazio's administrators, and by a qualified presence of political, scientific and technical guests. The growth of the event is also witnessed by the participation of numerous territorial organisations and the significant presence of public and private enterprises.

For Daniele Sinibaldi, President ANCI Lazio: “Training Camp 2025 is an opportunity for innovation and strategic planning for the territories of our region. The objective is to accompany the municipalities of Lazio towards more modern modes of governance, making the most of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, together with sustainable and inclusive growth models. ANCI Lazio wants to play a central role in the implementation of cohesion policies, providing administrators with practical tools to face today's challenges and build stronger and more innovative communities. We are particularly pleased that this edition will take place in Sperlonga, which will become a showcase of Italy capable of innovation and renewal”.

According to Armando Cusani, Mayor of Sperlonga: “Thank you for choosing Sperlonga as the venue for this important debate between administrators. Our region, Lazio, is an area of strategic importance, not only for the presence of Rome, but also for the value that each of its municipalities contributes to generating. It is crucial to remember that citizens turn to municipalities for most of their daily needs. For this reason, it is necessary to strengthen the legislative and operational capacity of local authorities so that they can respond better and better to the demands of the community”.
