Today, the first meeting of the “Regione Lazio in Comune” series was held at the Sala Tirreno of the Lazio Region. This initiative, promoted by the Lazio Region with the technical collaboration of ANCI Lazio, is designed as a structured path for discussion and dialogue with the mayors and local administrators of the region.
The initiative is structured into five thematic meetings dedicated to the main responsibilities of the Regional Council, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the Region and the Municipalities, enhancing the central role of local administrations in territorial development and in the definition of public policies.
The first date, dedicated to Public services and local administration, saw the participation of the President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca, along with the regional councillors Luisa Regimenti e Fabrizio Ghera, which outlined the Region's intervention lines and initiated a direct discussion with the representatives of the territories.
During the meeting, the value of constant, structured dialogue between institutional levels was reiterated, based on listening to local needs, sharing critical issues, and building common solutions. This is a path aimed at making administrative action ever more effective and strengthening collaboration between the Region and local authorities.
Significant participation from ANCI Lazio, actively involved in the initiative. In particular, the Vice President Riccardo Varone He stressed the need to consolidate a working method based on continuous dialogue with the Municipalities, highlighting how moments like this represent a concrete opportunity to bring the territories' demands to the attention of the Region and improve the quality of public policies.
The debate was moderated by Veronica Felici, a member of the ANCI Lazio Executive Board and Mayor of Pomezia, who highlighted the importance of strengthening the role of mayors in regional decision-making processes, fostering ever closer and more operational collaboration between institutions.
The meeting was also attended by numerous local administrators, confirming the shared interest and desire to build a participatory and concrete path.
