The ANCI Lazio Executive Committee met yesterday., summoned by the President Daniele Sinibaldi, to address various points on the agenda related to the Association's activities and the planning of upcoming initiatives.
Among the approved points, the Board of Directors gave the Green light for the plan relating to the new structure of the association's headquarters, with a view to reorganising spaces in line with the growth path undertaken by ANCI Lazio in recent years. A move aimed at making the Association's work even more effective and concentrating services, expertise, and functions available to the Municipalities in a single location.
“ANCI Lazio is growing and growing because the work carried out alongside the Municipalities has grown in recent years, as have the activities, projects, and services that we implement every day. – declares President Daniele Sinibaldi –. The choice of a larger and more functional headquarters should be read in this very direction: to offer the Municipalities of Lazio an even stronger, more structured point of reference, capable of responding to the needs of the territories.
The objective – Sinibaldi continues – Is to merge and strengthen in a single space many services aimed at Municipalities, bringing together diverse experiences and skills. In this path, the presence, alongside ANCI Lazio, of entities such as Federsanità, UNCEM Lazio, and Gazzetta Amministrativa will be important, with the idea of building a more useful, concrete, and close support for local administrations.”.
During the Executive Committee meeting, the topic of support for small municipalities was also discussed, with particular reference to the legislative proposal put forward by ANCI Lazio., dedicated to strengthening support for the most fragile territories, the inner areas and bodies that, more than others, experience structural difficulties on an administrative and organisational level.
“This is a central theme for us – added Sinibaldi – ANCI Lazio has always been close to the issues of smaller municipalities. These represent a fundamental part of the institutional and social fabric of our region. We are talking about realities that guarantee services, presence, proximity and cohesion, and which for this reason need attention, adequate tools and concrete support.
For this – concludes the President – We look favourably upon the work being carried out on this front and thank the Lazio Region for its willingness to examine our proposal and for the sensitivity shown towards the issue of small municipalities. Strengthening support for these bodies means strengthening the entire system of local authorities and giving more strength to the territories.”.
With yesterday's meeting, ANCI Lazio thus confirms its commitment to continue along a path of organisational and institutional growth, with the aim of placing more and more Municipalities in Lazio at the centre of its actions.
