ANCI is promoting a new training event dedicated to European funding opportunities for local authorities. On Wednesday 29 July, from 10.30 to 13.00, the webinar “EU Direct Funds – Opportunities of the CERV Programme for Municipalities” will be held, organised in collaboration with the National Contact Point of the CERV Programme.

The initiative represents an opportunity for further study by local councillors and officials interested in learning about the opportunities offered by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, the European Union instrument that supports projects dedicated to the promotion of European values, democratic participation, equality, fundamental rights and the prevention of violence.

During the webinar, the main features of the programme will be illustrated and, in particular, the Daphne and Town Twinning calls for proposals will be examined in depth, with the aim of providing local authorities with operational guidance to seize direct EU funding opportunities. The presentations will be led by experts from the CERV National Contact Point.

The meeting is part of the support programme promoted by ANCI to strengthen the capacity of local authorities to access European funds and develop projects in the international sphere.
