President Daniele Sinibaldi and Secretary General Luca Masi attended the audience with the Holy Father Leo XIV together with the ANCI delegation, composed of the mayors of the capital municipalities, the delegations of the regional ANCIs, and the technical structure.
The Pope's words touched the deepest chords of the mayors and mayors present, whom the Holy Father thanked for their service to their respective communities, recalling the thoughts of Don Primo Mazzolari and Giorgio La Pira.
An atmosphere of cordiality and affection characterised a morning that will remain in the memory of those who took part in the audience, at which Cardinal Matteo Zuppi was also present.
