ANCI Lazio expresses its deep condolences and full sympathy to the communities and administrations of the territories affected by the flooding that has affected several areas in north-eastern Italy in the last few hours.
The President of ANCI Lazio, Daniele Sinibaldi, expressed solidarity with the mayors and administrations involved in the rescue and assistance operations for the population:
“We stand by the affected municipalities, the mayors, Anci Friuli Venezia Giulia, the volunteers and all the structures involved in these difficult hours. The extreme events that continue to hit the country call for unity, responsibility, and concrete support to local administrations, which once again represent the first safeguard for citizens.
In the coming hours I will contact the President of ANCI FVG to express our proximity and offer the operational support of our association structure”.”.
ANCI Lazio joins in the grief of the victims' families and hopes for a quick return to normality for the affected communities.
