Projects, territorial identities, training and great participation at the regional stand
Once again this year, ANCI Lazio brought to the 42nd ANCI National Assembly a compact, recognisable presence geared towards enhancing the work of Lazio's municipalities. In an edition that recorded over 20,000 attendances total and more than 5,000 accredited mayors, the regional stand has become a reference point for administrators, technicians, authorities and institutional partners.
For three days, the Anci Lazio space hosted meetings, presentations, tastings, and moments of discussion dedicated to local identities, the training of administrators, and paths of administrative innovation.
Sinibaldi: “A space that gave voice to the territories of Lazme”.”
“We brought the value of Lazio's territories back to the centre,” says the President of ANCI Lazio Daniele Sinibaldi.
“The stand was a living place, visited by administrators from all provinces, where we presented concrete projects and useful tools for municipalities. Participation in the De.Co. initiatives and training courses confirms that there is a strong demand for identity and skills. This Assembly gives us back a Lazio that wants to grow, collaborate, and face the challenges of modernisation together.
I want to thank all the administrators who wanted to visit us and the staff who helped make Anci Lazio such a strong presence at this year's National Assembly”.
Origine Comune: the heritage of municipalities protagonist in Bologna
Great interest was aroused by the initiative dedicated to the Municipal Denominations (De.Co.) and the project Common Origin, which brought typical products and stories linked to local identities to the Assembly.
The tasting dedicated to Lazio's excellence attracted administrators, journalists and visitors, helping to raise awareness of an ever-expanding network of quality.
University training and skills for administrators
Among the most popular topics was the presentation of the new university and training paths developed by ANCI Lazio in cooperation with the Fondazione Gazzetta Amministrativa and the International University of Public Administration.
The package includes advanced training courses and master courses for municipalities on:
- Artificial Intelligence and Public Administration
- Investee companies
- Budget and local finance
The convention presented at the stand includes significant economic benefits for administrators and employees of Lazio municipalities.
“Investing in training is a strategic priority,” emphasises Deputy Vice President Riccardo Varone.
“Administrative challenges are changing rapidly: offering university courses and up-to-date tools means strengthening our municipalities and improving the political and public qualities of our local administrators, who are daily grappling with increasingly complex management and economic challenges”.
Masi: “An operational stand, not just an exhibition stand”
The Secretary General Luca Masi highlights the pragmatic role of regional space:
“Iour stand was a place of operation, where administrators and technicians found answers, materials, contacts and opportunities. We collected requests from the territories, built links with institutional partners, and offered moments of in-depth analysis on crucial topics such as digitalisation, local identities, and training. The high attendance at the stand shows that Anci Lazio is perceived as a concrete and reliable point of reference”.
An Assembly that strengthens Lazio's role in the ANCI system
The constant participation in events, bilateral meetings, the interest of administrations from other territories, and the comparison with public and private partners confirm the growth of Anci Lazio's role within the national system.
Record numbers in Bologna, more than 20,000 total attendance, more than 5,000 accredited mayors
The regional association renews its commitment to the municipalities and looks forward to the next Assembly, scheduled for in Verona in 2026.
