Memorandum of Understanding between the Lazio Region and the Lazio National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI Lazio) for the promotion of activities and projects for active ageing
Promotion of activities and projects for active ageing, within the framework of their respective competences, with a commitment to promote territorial projects based on the concept of active citizenship and intergenerational learning that enables a cultural valorisation of the experiences and knowledge of the worlds they belong to, to be implemented with senior citizens' social centres.
The projects concern the participation of older people in the care and regeneration of the commons (voluntary social engagement projects for carrying out small jobs, maintenance, care and custody of public property), activities for the intergenerational transmission of skills, techniques and knowledge, to be implemented with and in schools of all levels.
