“Urban Regenerative Water Avant-garde(N)”.”
URWAN, coordinated by ANCI Lazio, addresses the fundamental link between urban regeneration and
resources, exploiting the role of nature-based solutions in the integration of management
water resources and adaptation to climate change, demonstrating the importance
to make these solutions multifunctional. Useful tools will be made available to offices
municipal technicians to understand the use and multifunctional potential of green solutions
to be applied to a broad spectrum of public investments, supporting the realisation of
urban green areas with low use of natural resources, low maintenance costs and capable of
contribute to climate change mitigation.
ANCI Lazio will implement a pilot demonstration initiative, applying the solutions devised
by URWAN.
