“Urban Regenerative Water Avant-garde(N)”.”
URWAN, coordinated by ANCI Lazio, addresses the fundamental link between urban regeneration and resources, exploiting the role of nature-based solutions in integrating water resource management and climate change adaptation, demonstrating the importance of making these solutions multifunctional. Useful tools will be made available to municipal technical offices to understand the use and multifunctional potential of green solutions to be applied to a wide range of public investments, supporting the creation of urban green areas with low use of natural resources, low maintenance costs and able to contribute to climate change mitigation. ANCI Lazio will carry out a pilot demonstration initiative, applying the solutions devised by URWAN.
