“Coordinated Multi-Agency Response to Violence against Older Women”.”
Gender-based violence against elderly women is a growing phenomenon throughout Europe with specific peculiarities of the victims that are often not reflected in the tools currently available to organisations involved in handling such cases. MARVOW developed and tested within the Municipality III of Roma Capitale, a multi-agency model creating ad-hoc tools for elderly women. This model allows all municipalities to easily implement a multi-agency regulation for a more effective and efficient handling of gender-based violence cases on older women.
