ANCI is promoting a new training event focused on European funding opportunities for local authorities. On Wednesday 29th July, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, the webinar “Direct EU Funds – Programme CERV Opportunities for Municipalities” will be held, organised in collaboration with the CERV Programme National Contact Point.
The initiative represents an opportunity for municipal administrators and officials to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities offered by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, the European Union's instrument that supports projects dedicated to promoting European values, democratic participation, equality, fundamental rights, and the prevention of violence.
During the webinar, the main features of the programme will be presented, with a particular focus on the Daphne and Town Twinning calls for proposals. The aim is to provide municipalities with operational guidance on how to seize opportunities for direct funding from the European Union. The presentations will be delivered by experts from the CERV National Contact Point.
The meeting is part of the support process promoted by ANCI to strengthen the capacity of local authorities to access European funds and develop international projects.
