{"id":5354,"date":"2026-10-27T17:39:20","date_gmt":"2026-10-27T17:39:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/?p=5354"},"modified":"2026-10-27T17:39:34","modified_gmt":"2026-10-27T17:39:34","slug":"project-moves-the-anci-lab-in-lazio-to-strengthen-participation-in-mountain-municipalities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/en\/progetto-moves-a-rieti-il-laboratorio-di-anci-lazio-per-rafforzare-la-partecipazione-nei-comuni-montani\/","title":{"rendered":"MOVES Project, in Rieti, the ANCI Lazio laboratory to strengthen participation in mountain municipalities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From citizens' proposals to public policies: a dialogue between administrators, associations and local communities to build new recommendations at regional and European level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The local consultation workshop took place today, Tuesday 27 October, at the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Rieti. <strong>\u201cFrom local action to public policies \u2013 From citizens\u201d proposals to recommendations for the mountain municipalities of Lazio\u201d<\/strong>, organized by ANCI Lazio as part of the European project <strong>MOVES \u2013 Mountain Voices for Engaged and Sustainable Democracy<\/strong>, co-funded by the European Union through the CERV program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative represented an important opportunity for dialogue and participation, involving local administrators and public officials, representatives of civil society organizations, associations, young people and citizens, with the aim of strengthening dialogue between institutions and communities and promoting increasingly inclusive and participatory forms of governance in mountain regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The laboratory in Rieti is part of the path already initiated by the MOVES project through the territorial forums held in <strong>Campoli Appennino and Rocca Priora<\/strong>, During these meetings, citizens had the opportunity to identify the main critical issues in their communities and propose possible solutions. Today\u2019s meeting allowed for the deepening and development of these proposals, verifying their applicability in other territorial contexts and working towards the definition of concrete recommendations to be submitted to the municipal administrations, the Lazio Region and the European institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The morning was structured through moments of discussion and participatory activities, using innovative tools such as interactive surveys, thematic working groups and the Open Space methodology, which allowed the participants to independently identify the priority topics and contribute to the shared construction of the proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Particular attention has been paid to tools to encourage citizens' involvement in decision-making processes, overcome barriers to participation, and enhance the contribution of different generations, also through digital tools and new ways of dialogue between citizens and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For ANCI Lazio, the MOVES project represents an opportunity to enhance the role of mountain municipalities<\/strong>, By promoting public policies capable of responding to the real needs of the territories and strengthening the role of local communities in the choices concerning their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recommendations developed during the workshop will contribute to the overall results of the project and will be presented at the occasion of the final report. <strong>European final conference of MOVES, scheduled in Rome<\/strong>, This also led to the European level the experiences, needs and proposals emerged from the territories of Lazio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This path confirms the commitment of ANCI Lazio to support democratic participation, collaboration between institutions and citizens, and the sustainable development of mountain communities, so that local demands can be translated into concrete public actions and policies.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dalle proposte dei cittadini alle politiche pubbliche: confronto tra amministratori, associazioni e comunit\u00e0 locali per costruire nuove raccomandazioni a livello regionale ed europeo.
