Events include the regional assembly of ANCI Lazio with President Francesco Rocca and a discussion with Members of the European Parliament.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first day of the [event\/conference\/etc.] concluded in Sperlonga <strong>ANCI Lazio Training Camp 2026<\/strong>, which on 17 September brought together local administrators, institutional representatives, parliamentarians, experts and partners in a comprehensive programme of meetings and in-depth discussions dedicated to the main issues affecting the local government system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The significant turnout recorded during the day and the presence of representatives from various institutional levels confirmed the Training Camp as an occasion for <strong>dialogue, analysis and sharing between municipalities, institutions and regions<\/strong>, with the aim of strengthening dialogue and identifying common tools and perspectives to address the changes affecting local authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the official opening of the event, proceedings continued at the <strong>Cinema Augusto<\/strong> with the plenary session <strong>\u201cTransition territories: innovating to compete\u201d<\/strong>, dedicated to the digital transformation of local authorities and the new demands that the innovation process places on public administrations.<br>The discussion focused, in particular, on strengthening the skills and administrative capacity of local authorities, system interoperability, data management and reuse, cybersecurity and the introduction of artificial intelligence into administrative processes. These are issues of growing importance for municipalities, which are called upon to translate technological innovation into more efficient and accessible services for citizens and businesses.<br>The session was chaired by <strong>Davide D'Arcangelo<\/strong>, ANCI Lazio innovation consultant, in collaboration with <strong>Emilio Di Marzio<\/strong>, and introduced by <strong>Daniele Mioni<\/strong>, a member of the ANCI Lazio Executive Board. The panel involved representatives from institutions, public administration and the business world, offering various contributions on the prospects of digital transformation and the conditions necessary to support local authorities in this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of particular importance in the afternoon was the\u2019<strong>Regional assembly of ANCI Lazio<\/strong>, which was attended by <strong>President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca<\/strong>.<br>The Assembly constitutes one of the main moments of ANCI Lazio's associative life and represents the venue in which mayors and administrators of the Municipalities of Lazio are called upon to share the priorities and guidelines of the Association. <br>The President's participation <strong>Francesco Rocca<\/strong> it represented a further opportunity for discussion between <strong>Lazio Region and the municipal system<\/strong>, as part of an institutional relationship based on collaboration and the need to ensure constant liaison between the regional level and local administrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work therefore continued at the\u2019<strong>ANCI Lazio Village<\/strong>, with the further information <strong>\u201cThe Exchequer shield under the test of eventual dolus: why mayors and secretaries are at risk together\u201d<\/strong>, entrusted to <strong>Michele Smargiassi<\/strong>, Regional Secretary of the National Union of Municipal and Provincial Secretaries.<br>This was followed by <strong>\u201cFrom Strasbourg to Sperlonga \u2013 Discussion with European MPs\u201d<\/strong>, an event dedicated to the relationship between European institutions and local authorities, and the impact of EU policies on local areas. The meeting allowed the issues addressed at the European level to be linked with the needs of local administrations, strengthening the dialogue between European representation and the system of local autonomies.<br>The discussion was attended by <strong>Antonella Sberna, Nicola Procaccini, Salvatore De Meo, Nicola Zingaretti, Dario Nardella and Camilla Laureti<\/strong>. The meeting was introduced by the vice-president of ANCI Lazio <strong>Riccardo Varone<\/strong> and moderately from <strong>Tonj Ortoleva<\/strong>, director of <em>Latina Oggi<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first day concluded with an initiative aimed not only at the guests and participants of the Training Camp, but also at the <strong>citizenship of Sperlonga<\/strong>. ANCI Lazio has in fact sought to offer a <strong>evening drone show<\/strong>, a surprise that accompanied the conclusion of the work and represented a moment of shared participation with the community that hosts the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Training Camp ANCI Lazio 2026 continues on 18 September<\/strong> with a second day of proceedings dedicated to social infrastructure, local finance, female representation in institutions and the skills needed to accompany the evolution of Public Administration.
