ANCI Lazio participated this morning in the conference \u201cSmall villages, great opportunities\u201d, hosted at Palazzo Mocci in Castel San Pietro Romano, an important occasion for discussion dedicated to the future of internal areas and the development of small municipalities in the Prenestini Mountains. The Director General of ANCI Lazio participated in the initiative., Federico Palla<\/strong>, as testament to the Association's commitment to fostering shared growth and enhancing local areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The meeting was an opportunity to delve deeper into the results and prospects of the \u201cSmall & Smart Villages Governance\u201d project, developed in collaboration with the University of Rome Tor Vergata and Sapienza University of Rome, with the aim of promoting new governance, innovation, and sustainable development models for small villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the works, the strong need arose to strengthen the capacity of small municipalities to network, share skills and build common strategies to face the challenges of depopulation, digital transition, environmental sustainability and the enhancement of cultural and landscape heritage. In this process, local authorities play a central role, as protagonists of territorial policies capable of generating new opportunities for citizens, businesses and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ANCI Lazio's participation confirms the Association's commitment to supporting local municipalities in administrative innovation and local development pathways, fostering dialogue between institutions, universities, and local realities.
