The training and participation initiative promoted by MOVES \u2013 Mountain Voices for Engaged and Sustainable Democracy, the European project co-funded by the European Union, continues. ANCI Lazio is involved in strengthening civic engagement and democratic participation in mountain territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next meeting is scheduled for Friday 3 July 2026, from 10:00 to 12:15, with the free webinar \u201cEU Rights and European Citizenship\u201d, an opportunity for in-depth discussion dedicated to the rights of European citizens, instruments of democratic participation and the opportunities offered by the European Union to foster the development of local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative is aimed at local public officials, administrators, representatives of civil society organisations, active citizens, young people aged 18 to 30, and students, who are interested in deepening their understanding of European citizenship and the active role of citizens in shaping European policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the webinar, the main participation tools made available by the European Union will be illustrated, as well as the opportunities that territories can seize to promote an increasingly aware, inclusive, and participatory citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, participants will receive a certificate of attendance, training materials, a recording of the webinar, and an operational toolkit. It will also be possible to continue the journey within the MOVES project community, contributing to subsequent activities of discussion, co-creation, and proposal development through the project's digital platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
