On 4 June, the awards ceremony for the 14th edition of the national competition \u201cFuture Surveyors Design Accessibility\u201d was held at Sala Trilussa in Cassa Geometri in Rome. This initiative, promoted by FIABA ETS and the National Council of Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors, aims to raise awareness among new generations about inclusive design and the removal of architectural barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n

The ceremony was also attended by Federico Palla, Director General of ANCI Lazio<\/strong>, in testimony to the Association's commitment to promoting territorial policies oriented towards accessibility, inclusion, and the quality of public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the twelve best projects created by students from Technical Institutes \u2013 specializing in Construction, Environment and Territory (CAT) \u2013 from all over Italy were awarded. The submissions addressed highly current themes, ranging from the accessible redevelopment of urban and natural areas to the enhancement of historical buildings, and the development of innovative infrastructure for truly inclusive mobility. The projects highlighted the capacity of the new generations to combine technical skills, environmental sustainability, and attention to people's needs, contributing to the envisioning of increasingly accessible and inclusive cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative has now become a benchmark in the training of future professionals in the sector. In over ten years of activity, it has involved thousands of students, promoting a culture of universal design and the removal of architectural barriers as an essential element for community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of ANCI Lazio confirms the Association's focus on pathways that centre on collaboration between institutions, schools, and professions, with the awareness that building more accessible territories means concretely improving the quality of life for citizens and making local communities more inclusive and sustainable.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
