{"id":3970,"date":"2026-03-24T17:32:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T17:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/?p=3970"},"modified":"2026-03-24T17:32:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T17:32:13","slug":"sinibaldis-work-at-the-national-conference-on-the-mismatch-between-supply-and-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/en\/lavoro-sinibaldi-al-confronto-nazionale-sul-mismatch-tra-domanda-e-offerta\/","title":{"rendered":"Work: Sinibaldi at the national conference on the mismatch between supply and demand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It took place at the <strong>Hall of the She-Wolf of the Palace of Montecitorio<\/strong>, at the Chamber of Deputies, the meeting entitled <em>\u201cMismatch and guidance: the vocational supply chain and the role of the Regions\u201d<\/em>, dedicated to the theme of the mismatch between labour demand and supply and territorial policies to reduce it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative, promoted by Expo Training, was attended by institutional representatives, figures from the academic and business worlds, as well as numerous labour market stakeholders, with the aim of exploring the role of regions and local areas in building more effective training and professional pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also joining via video link was <strong>Daniele Sinibaldi<\/strong>, President of ANCI Lazio and Mayor of Rieti, who brought the perspective of the Municipalities on the issue of mismatch and its repercussions in the territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab<em>We often talk about a mismatch between supply and demand, but we must have the courage to call things by their proper name: we are facing a structural fracture that impacts the life trajectories of young people, slows down business growth and, as a whole, weakens our country's competitive capacity. The result is a vicious circle that penalises everyone: young people, who see their opportunities and social mobility diminish; businesses, which lose productivity and adaptability; and even employment intermediaries themselves, called upon to make up for systemic shortcomings without being able to rely on full and structural integration.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This is why today it is essential to bring the role of local areas back to the centre, particularly that of municipalities and regions. As ANCI Lazio, we believe that the mismatch challenge cannot be tackled with isolated or emergency measures.
