{"id":1723,"date":"2025-07-31T06:45:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T06:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/?p=1723"},"modified":"2025-11-13T04:23:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T04:23:26","slug":"west-nile-virus-the-lazio-region-order-urgent-pest-control-interventions-in-municipalities-with-confirmed-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancilazio.it\/en\/west-nile-virus-lordinanza-della-regione-lazio-interventi-urgenti-di-disinfestazione-nei-comuni-con-casi-accertati\/","title":{"rendered":"West Nile Virus, Lazio Region ordinance: urgent disinfestation interventions in municipalities with confirmed cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u2019<strong>Contingent and Urgent Order No. Z00003<\/strong>&nbsp;of the President of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca, containing the&nbsp;<strong>extraordinary measures to combat the West Nile virus<\/strong>, Following the increase in the number of infections and some deaths recorded in recent weeks in the areas under the jurisdiction of the local health authorities of&nbsp;<strong>Latina, Rome 6 and Frosinone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ordinance requires municipalities with&nbsp;<strong>established viral circulation<\/strong>&nbsp;execution, with&nbsp;<strong>urgency and without delay<\/strong>, of&nbsp;<strong>extraordinary larvicidal and adulticidal pest control interventions<\/strong>, in accordance with the indications of the territorial ASLs and with the collaboration of the\u2019<strong>Lazio and Tuscany Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute<\/strong>, in charge of verifying the interventions and coordinating the disbursement of contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interventions will be financed through&nbsp;<strong>extraordinary regional resources<\/strong>, allocated by a special resolution.
